Currently: Head of Copy at Free Fly Apparel
Joined the team as the first and only copy hire in early 2023. I built the copy/editorial process from the ground up, shaped our voice, and currently write, edit, and oversee every word that goes out the door. We rebranded in early 2024. I’m biased, but I think it’s a strong evolution. We now lean into real athletes—big-wave surfers, dedicated anglers, and incredible humans—to inform almost every creative decision we make. I’ve created campaign concepts and taglines, written 15+ prospecting and house catalogs (with editorial), named five seasons’ worth of new products, and drummed up print ads for The Surfer’s Journal and Fly Fish Journal, to name a few highlights.
Previously: Managing Editor at Huckberry

Managed a scrappy team of four incredibly talented writers. Concepted and launched new lifestyle brands—like Wellen, Greys, and Forty Five—along with creating campaigns around all third-party brands and exclusive collabs—like Coors, Ralph Lauren, and Patagonia.
